What is a PPG?

It is a statutory requirement that every NHS doctor’s practice in the UK has a Patients Participation Group and to have at least one public meeting per year. The PPG is a forum for our patients to advise and inform us of what they think of our service and to enable us to identify problems so that we can improve our service further.

To help us with this, we are setting up a virtual patient representation group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you have received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys short so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.

We would like a truly representative sample therefore we need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

We would like to invite you to join our group. We plan to contact you via email alone to ask you to help with our annual patient survey and for any feedback you may wish to share with us.

If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.
